The Formula
The Formula, Laid Out
We're a new brand with no decades of history to lean on. So we lay the formula out — every ingredient, every percentage, why it's in, and why other things aren't. You can check it line by line.

41% Amino Acid Surfactant System
All cleansing power comes from two amino acid surfactants: Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate and Sodium Lauroyl Alaninate (a glutamate + alaninate system). No SLS, no SLES, no soap base.
Amino acid surfactants cleanse more gently. The trade-off: less foam, higher cost. We took the trade-off.

Three numbers

On Fragrance, Honestly
Fragrance: 0.08% (8 parts per 10,000)
Our cleanser contains fragrance. We don't hide that. It's added at 0.08% — 8 parts per 10,000, the minimum needed to neutralise the raw material scent. It's a rinse-off product: it sits on your skin for seconds, then it's gone. But if you're fragrance-sensitive, or your skin is going through something — please don't buy this one. There are fragrance-free options out there. Those are the right ones for you.

What we leave out
No SLS/SLES, no soap base, no alcohol, no animal testing. And note: we do contain fragrance (0.08%) and PEG-400. We write both down — we won't say "PEG-free", because that wouldn't be true.

On PEG-400, too
Our formula contains PEG-400 (polyethylene glycol 400), used as a humectant and solvent. It is not PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil — a different ingredient. We don't say "PEG-free", because that wouldn't be accurate. If PEGs matter to you, please decide for yourself before buying.
Contains: PEG-400 (humectant/solvent). Free from: SLS/SLES, soap base, alcohol.

The scent is rose. That's not something we're hiding either
some people say it smells cheap, and we accept that. We're not going to dress it up with words like "sophisticated note".

Fragrance: 0.08% (8/10,000)
Scent: rose
Longevity: short, barely present after rinsing.
